Need more creative uses for a multiplication jeopardy review game? If you’re anything like me, you’re always on the hunt for fresh, engaging ways to review multiplication facts—because let’s be real: flashcards and drills can only go so far.

That’s exactly why I created my Multiplication Jeopardy Game—a fun, no-prep activity that gets students excited about math practice. Whether you’re working on fact fluency or prepping for a test, this game makes review feel like recess.

Here are five ways to bring Multiplication Jeopardy to life in your classroom:

1️⃣ Whole Group Review

This is my go-to method, especially before a test!

Project the game on your screen, divide students into teams, and let the math battles begin. Not only does this promote teamwork, but it also keeps everyone thinking—even when it’s not their turn.

This setup is perfect for reviewing before tests, celebrating the end of a unit, or just adding some mid-week fun.

👉 Tip: Use mini whiteboards so everyone solves each problem, even if it’s not their team’s turn!

2️⃣ Math Centers or Stations

Want an easy-to-manage math station that your students won’t rush through?
Set up the Jeopardy game on a laptop or tablet and let small groups play cooperatively. It’s great for reinforcing facts in a low-pressure environment where students can help one another.

This is especially helpful if you’re rotating through guided groups and want your other students meaningfully engaged.

3️⃣ Guided Small Group Interventions

Need a high‑engagement activity for your targeted support group?

Pull 3–4 students who need extra multiplication practice and have them play a focused round of Jeopardy with you or a para. Because the questions are tiered, you can tailor the board to the exact facts they’re struggling with.

🔍 Tip: Use the easier categories first to build confidence, then ramp up the challenge as they improve!

This keeps interventions lively, lets you track who’s mastering which facts, and avoids the monotony of worksheets (although if you want some worksheets that are actually fun, make sure to take a peek at my sets of color-by-number multiplication worksheets for max engagement!).

4️⃣ Sub Plan Lifesaver

Let’s be honest: leaving meaningful sub plans is hard. It’s also hard giving something meaningful that you can be sure that your sub can handle.

Add this Jeopardy game to your sub plan! It’s straightforward, requires no logins or teacher-led instructions, and students already know how to play.

Whether they play as teams or as a class, it’s a great way to maintain structure—and sneak in some extra math.

5️⃣ Family Math Night or Homework Reinforcement

This game isn’t just for the classroom. It’s a fun and easy addition to Family Math Nights or as optional at-home practice.

Kids love showing off what they know—and parents appreciate having something engaging and educational they can do together.
