Want to know how these color-by-number handouts work?
First, students will read the passage.
Next, students will answer four comprehension questions.
Each answer choice has a color written next to it.
Depending on their answer choice, students will color the picture at the bottom of the page a specific color.
How stinking fun is that?!
These reading comprehension worksheets are super fun!
Why?
Because students will get to color after reading the text and answer the questions!
The coloring also means that it’s super simple for YOU to grade… just look at the picture!
Just print and pass it out to your students!
You are busy enough, these worksheets will help take some of that workload off your plate.
Yep, these passages are not going to take students an entire reading block to complete!
Because the point of reading comprehension passages & questions is to assess if students understand the text.
We can’t assess students if they spend an hour just reading the passage and never even to get to the questions!
