Why makes these fall color by numbers so SPICEtacular?
SO FUN!
These reading passages are super fun!
After students read the passage and answer questions, they get to color the picture based on their answer choices!
You will love how excited that your students get over these reading passages.
I’m totally serious when I say that students will ask for more of these!
More reading comprehension???
No, really!!!!
No prep
It’s just a one page worksheet, so print,Β make copies, and passΒ out.
Yep, no stapling required π
Heck, this reading comprehension is even easy to grade.
Just look at the picture!
If the picture isn’t colored right, then you can go back and look at the answers to see which ones students missed.
Short & concise passages
I purposely made the passages and questions short and one page.
Why?
Because students shouldn’t take an entire hour of a reading block simply to read the passage.
I used to have students who would not finish the passage, and never even get to the questions.
How do we assess on reading comprehension if they can’t answer the questions?
These are short, simple, and to the point.
And what is the point?
To figure out if students understood the text that they just read!
What is included in these fall worksheet activities for 3rd grade?

And an answer key, of course! (Because let’s be honest, you are busy enough!).
