These worksheets are Christmas-themed reading passages and questions… but with a fun color by number twist 🙂
Reading comprehension practice is so dang important, but in December it gets tougher and tougher to keep students’ attention.
Throwing in some Christmas-y and festive fun in your reading passages will help get students focused (well… at least a little more than usual!).

First, let me tell you how students will complete these Christmas worksheets!
First, students will read a Christmas-themed passage.
The passage is SHORT and CONCISE… so it’s not going to take an entire reading block to do!
Next, there are four questions for students to answer.
After students answer the four comprehension questions about the passage, then they are directed what color to make each part of the picture.
How dang fun is that?!
At the end, students will have a colored picture!
You receive 5 passages with this Christmas set (and answer keys, of course!).
There are four fiction passages, and one nonfiction passage.
