Color by number reading comprehension is the most fun reading comprehension that you’re going to find!
As students answer comprehension questions, they are directed to what color to use on a black and white mystery picture at the bottom of the sheet!
When they finish answering, their mystery picture is revealed.
How dang FUN is that?!
Yep – it’s FUN for students!
These end-of-the-year worksheets are engaging and motivating for students.
Students love taking their time coloring their pictures, and “revealing” the different colors.
It’s reading comprehension that your students will actually like doing!
You are busy enough at the end of the year.
Between end-of-the-year assessments, cleaning up the classroom, and test prep, you have a lot going on.
Print the worksheet, hand it to students, and you’re done.
Students don’t have an enormous attention span (ESPECIALLY at the end of the year).
The short passages don’t overwhelm students and actually holds their attention.
